Basic/Beginners Mixing Concepts – Develop your skills

Posted: January 25, 2011 in Mixing

as I promised in the last article,

here are the files of the project, 24bits 44.1khz stereo, so you can work on your skills and internalize the Basic/Beginners Mixing Concepts.

124MB in one RAR file.

if you need a reminder, here it is:

Volume & Panning –

Stereo Width –

Compressor & Envelope Shaper –

EQ –

Reverb –

Readjusting –

Now it is your turn to develop your Mixing skills, the moment when you really make some changes and make a good music sound PERFECT!

you can use the files in any DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to practice/exercise the Basic/Beginners Mixing Concepts.

if you want I can upload an MP3 version of the project channels, but know that it will reduce the quality and will make your life harder trying to mix it.

when you are finished you are welcome to send the results here, and get tips how to make it sound better, like in every part of life getting feedbacks from others can fill in the missing space.

here are the archive for you to download:

and if for any reason someone wants the separate channels :

the music is copyrighted and you can use it for free for any non-profit use, as long as you credit the owners (David Mazig AKA DJ Order) and the Blog.
